Monique is from Wellington, New Zealand. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Biomedicine and her MSc in Physiology from The University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand. In October 2019 she started a 4-year PhD programme, supported by the Darwin Trust, in Ken’s Lab. Here, Monique is currently studying the role of Hob3 stress dependent recruitment of Gef1 to the cell membrane.
